Dear friend,
This year, more than ever, we feel the importance of coming together as a community. After the challenges we’ve faced, including the attacks on Israel on October 7th, during Simchas Torah—the climax of the High Holidays—and the rise in antisemitism worldwide, it’s crucial that we stand united, offering strength and support to one another.
At Chabad, we perform mitzvos with joy, meaning, and relevance, embracing Jews of all ages and levels of knowledge. Blow the shofar, eat and celebrate in the sukkah, shake the lulav and etrog, and celebrate our Jewish identity.
This year is unique. Rosh Hashanah is immediately followed by Shabbat. Tradition teaches us that this signifies a special opportunity for increased holiness, peace, and unity. Let’s take full advantage by standing together while we welcome the New Year!
Looking forward to seeing you,
Rabbi Mendel and Mushky Shmotkin
